PRINTERS

For printing miniatures, we always recommend RESIN 3D printers as they provide exceptional detail and a smooth surface finish. Our models have been tested on the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s and Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K printers. We do not use FDM (filament) printing technology or other materials and therefore cannot provide support for those types of printers.

SLICER SOFTWARE

We recommend using Chitubox for its user-friendly interface, automatic support generation, advanced scaling options, and professional tools for preparing models for printing.

SCALING

Most of our models scale exceptionally well both up and down without noticeable loss of quality. All models are created at the scale specified in their listing; however, users have successfully printed them in scales ranging from 1:72 up to 1:6.

SUPPORT REMOVAL AND CLEANUP

To make support removal easier, we recommend soaking the model in warm water for 5–10 minutes. After this treatment, supports can usually be removed much more easily and leave fewer marks on the model's surface.

After removing the supports, the model should be thoroughly cleaned. Excellent results can be achieved by soaking the print for 30–60 minutes in Mean Green or a similar cleaning solution, followed by an additional 15–30 minute rinse in Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

REQUESTS & SUGGESTIONS

While we do not accept custom orders, we are always happy to hear your ideas for new models you'd like to see in our store. Simply send us a description or a reference image, and we will consider adding the project to our production schedule.

We truly enjoy helping bring creative ideas to life and expanding our catalog based on community feedback and suggestions.

Description

Golden Comb from the Solokha Kurgan — Scythian Masterpiece, 4th Century BC | STL for 3D Printing

The “Golden Comb from the Solokha Kurgan” is a highly detailed STL model inspired by one of the most remarkable masterpieces of ancient Scythian art. Dating to the 4th century BC, the original artifact is famous for its elaborate sculptural composition, intricate ornamentation, and exceptional craftsmanship.

The original golden comb was discovered in the Solokha Kurgan, an important Scythian burial mound. Its upper section features an impressive multi-figure scene with armed warriors, while the carefully designed decorative elements demonstrate the sophisticated artistic and metalworking traditions associated with the Scythian world.

This digital STL model allows collectors, history enthusiasts, artists, educators, and scale modellers to recreate the appearance of this famous archaeological artifact using modern 3D-printing technology. The detailed relief, warrior figures, and ornamental elements make it an excellent project for high-resolution printing and artistic finishing.

Scythian Golden Comb — Archaeological Artifact for 3D Printing

One of the most striking features of the Solokha comb is its complex decorative composition. The sculpted warriors and fine ornamental details make the model particularly interesting for painters and collectors who want to reproduce the appearance of ancient Scythian goldwork.

After printing, the model can be finished as a collectible replica, used in a historical or educational display, or painted with metallic effects to imitate gold, bronze, aged metal, and other surfaces. High-resolution resin printing is recommended when maximum preservation of the small figures, relief, and ornamental details is required.

The STL model can be scaled directly in your slicer according to the requirements of your project. This makes it possible to create anything from a compact display piece to a larger decorative reproduction while retaining the intricate character of the original design.

Please note: this is a digital product. After purchase, you will receive an STL file for 3D printing. No physical comb or printed model will be shipped.
